Today the Christian world needs, as never before, a much deeper comprehension of God’s Word. In April 2020, the Lord called a number of ministers from various evangelical and Messianic communities to create the International Apologetics Declaration. In July 2020, the first version of the Declaration was posted on social media which triggered a strong pushback in Christian and Messianic circles. The bulk of opposition focused on the following topics: the role of Israel in the end-times, the divinity of Christ and the Holy Spirit, the authority of Scriptures, and the teachings of the Kabbalah.
The final version of the Declaration was published March 1, 2021. It seeks to unite Christian and Messianic believers as one body of Christ on the principles of the biblical faith. The objectives of this Declaration are to: (1) outline the fundamental tenets of biblical faith; (2) emphasize the most common theological and practical misconceptions in contemporary evangelical and messianic circles; (3) promote spiritual unity among believers based on biblical truth.
To this date, the Declaration has been translated into 16 languages and signed by Christians from more than 20 countries. We invite you to familiarize yourself with the Declaration (see the full text below) and consider signing it.
