Dr. Igal German, a professor of the Hebrew Bible, offers a distinctive viewpoint as a Messianic Jewish apologist. Dr. German is the founding director of Yesod Bible Center (yesodbiblecenter.com) and the Faith Defenders International. His fervor for biblical scholarship is a driving force in his work, specializing in the Hebrew Bible in its ancient Near Eastern context and Second Temple Judaism; the biblical theology of the supernatural; the New Testament in its Jewish context; Biblical and Modern Hebrew; the history of biblical interpretation; and counter-cult apologetics. This passion is evident in his unwavering commitment to imparting the full spectrum of knowledge to his students, making them feel valued and respected, and inspiring them to delve deeper into the Scriptures.
